Be the Light

Good morning !! Hope all is well for you as you begin your journey through this day.

Today what is coming to me to share is a little bit of an extension of yesterday’s post. Let’s talk about your mission. I think we need to look at it from a very simple perspective. Through Gods eyes. You wouldn’t think that would be simple but let’s see where this is going. As mother Theresa is known to have said. Do small things with great love.

I think that is it! Yesterday while writing about our mission I was thinking maybe it’s just giving a smile or saying hello to someone you don’t know. We have no idea what other people are going through and a small act of kindness can change a life. Being a light in this dark world can make all the difference. We are His hands and feet in this world and I believe a great awakening is going to happen. So many people have bought into the sheep like mentality that society has slowly convinced us is the right way. We have followed the mob into the dark, convincing ourselves that we can do this on our own and we don’t need any direction from God. I think most of us are guilty of this in one way or another. It’s been a slow fade. But the time is coming, and preparing our hearts by opening them up to the loving light which is our Lord, is the best first step to freedom. We no longer are slaves in the dark. Let us pray today…. Lord Jesus please help us see ourselves as you see us. Make us beacons of light in this dark world. That our smiles and acts of kindness can begin a revolution against this darkness. Please give us what we need to battle in the moments that are more difficult. It is courage and strength that come from you Lord. We have only this day to work with. Help us to not look too far ahead. May your will be done in us for this day. Thank you sweet Jesus and May we have your protection as we go. In your sweet name we thank you. -Amen.
